A confusing display of old engravings.

It is what it is, an interesting, inexpensive collection of small and big machinery.

Don't waste your money.I had expected this book to be a visual record of machine and device designs - something that would be useful in terms of designing my own mech. systems (gear structures, mechanical interfaces, etc.,.)Instead, the book is a v. thin (60 pages) set of Victorian era etchings of miscellaneous machines and parts. not useful from an engineering perspective. And, as they have pasted anywhere from four to twelve pictures on each page with haphazardly random orientations, the pictures have little to no artistic/aesthetic value. The phrase "Bizarre tableau" in the product description doesn't even begin to describe it.The worst Amazon purchase I have made since 1996 - which is saying something. Whatever it is you are looking for, this book isn't it.

The Book Came On Time and Was What it Was Supposed to Be. I Don't Expect it to Get Much Better than That.
