My son( 10-year-old) who reads nothing but comics, fell in love with David walliams books, he was laughing all the time, and never put it down until he finished every page.Even my daughter who read big books like ink spell and Harry Potter found it amazingly light reading.Suitable for age 7 and up, I really advise this books for any kid.

I loved every minute of this book my favorite caracter is defently poiter. Its about a kid who goes on some crazy adventurs with the midnight gang. I recomed this book to everyone all ages. David William's is amazing author and David im 10 and live in Guam(a tiny island in the midde of nowhere a american territory part of the mariana islands) and i love you hosti g x facter and i cant wait till you finish bad dad lol i love you;) lol Mariana Wenden

I'm writing this on behalf of my daughter E. She is 9 years old (3rd grade). English is her second language (first one is Italian). This is the 3rd book she reads of David Walliams (first one Billionaire Boy - we read it aloud together; second one Demon Dentist). All the three books have been read in the last two weeks.She finds the reading "enchantingly realistic and moving, engaging, fantastic, amazing"... these are her words.Just to be more specific. She read and listened to this book in immersion reading (with the audible professional narration).

My 9yr old loves it. Best thing for parents is it has him reading 30min a night... we have to rip it out of his hands to get him to sleep.

My daughter LOVED this book, wanted me to buy others by the same author
