I purchased the audio version of the Michel Thomas method so I could pretty much take it anywhere and it could be used to my advantage on my phone , but my biggest complaint is that well...... The teacher and the students are great really felt like a classroom. However I've noticed the teacher doesn't really help you with how the words are pronounced. Sure the words said a couple of time but it never tells you how to say it correctly and that leads to my second complaint it goes to fast. It's great for beginners but still.....if you want some more audio books for learning Japanese try primsleur. I would suggest both.

Love the way Michel Thomas method approaches teaching. The language is presented in a systematic and practical way - very approachable.

The narrator can barely speak English and her Japanese pronunciation is appalling. The other woman trying to form Japanese sentences with a common English accent is painful to listen to.
